BCCI appoints security advisor

It’s been an appointment the Indian cricket board should have made long ago, but at least they’ve finally done it. On Tuesday, the Board announced that Ranjit Kumar Das, a 1970 batch Indian Police Service officer, will be their first full-time security advisor.

BCCI Appoints Security Advisor Ahead Of World Cup

Nine months ahead of the 2011 World Cup, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has appointed Ranjit Kumar Das as its security advisor. "The Board of Control for Cricket in India has appointed Mr Ranjit Kumar Das as a full-time security advisor," a board statement revealed.
